Allan O. Rivera. I was born and raised in the Philippines and migrated to the U.S. in 2003. This is my sixth year of teaching. I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the East – Manila, Philippines in 1995. After graduation, I worked in various countries and assumed different roles as an engineer. In 2010, I decided to join the noble career of teaching. I became a member of UTR Cohort I of CSUDH and earned my teaching credential. Presenting with me are a panel of bright and intelligent students whom I had the privilege to collaborate with. All six (6) students become part of the Alliance College-Ready Middle Academy #4 "The Mighty Ants" program. The Mighty Ants program is Alliance College-Ready Middle Academy #4 (ACRMA#4) STEAM program dedicated to preparing 8th-grade students for their participation in conferences and competitions.Marisol Chavez and Jilari Hernendez are incoming 9th and 10th graders respectively at Alliance Judy Ivie Burton Technology Academy High School. Sharon Valadez and Mia Flores are incoming 9th graders at Alliance Alice M. Baxter College Ready High School. Sherlyn Flores is an incoming 9th grader at Alliance Patti & Peter Neuwirth Leadership Academy. Michelle Lopez is an incoming 9th grader at Alliance Margaret M. Bloomfield High School.
