Daniel Williamson manages the day to day operations of OpenStax, using his extensive experience in academic e-publishing to guide content development, technology integration, and overall project coordination. A Rice University graduate, and passionate advocate of equity in education, he has dedicated the past ten years of his life to developing and leading education startups from conception to culmination. During that time, he has staked a claim in many areas of specialization, specifically: open education, content development, ed-tech, consumer intelligence, management, and quality assurance. As the Managing Director of OpenStax, a leading educational startup which aims to improve student access to quality educational materials, he has guided an organization which has already saved students across the country hundreds of millions of dollars.
