Hi, I am an​ ​instructional​ ​media​ ​specialist​ ​at​ ​Pima​ ​Community​ ​College.​ ​At​ ​Pima,​ I assist​ ​with​ ​the​ ​building​ ​of​ ​online​ ​courses​ ​from​ ​HTML​ ​to​ ​LMS.​ I work with instructional and web designers to turn faculty content into engaging online courses. ​ I fell in love with the digital world when, in 1982, my neighbor brought home the Mac prototype, Lisa, and I got to be one of the first kids to play and learn in this new environment. I grew up to be, first, a graphic​ ​artist​ ​and ​segued​ ​into​ ​training​ ​and​ ​development​ ​by​ ​designing​ ​and​ ​delivering training​ ​curriculum​ ​in​ ​the​ ​hospitality​ ​industry.​ ​Before Pima, I ​consulted​ ​with​ ​faculty​ ​around the​ ​world​ ​for​ ​a​ ​startup​ ​Learning​ ​Management​ ​System​ ​based​ ​in​ ​New​ ​York​ ​City. When not glued to a computer screen, I usually have a ball of yarn in hand, crocheting, or doing something else analog and old fashioned.
